Jennifer Finch actually began her career in rock, not as a musician, but as a concert photographer. Eager to participate in the Los Angeles club night life, Finch took her camera to shows and squeezed out candid and live shots of everyone from X and Black Flag to Red Hot Chili Peppers and David Bowie.

Always a bedroom musician, Finch's first band, Sugar Babylon was formed with high school friends Kat Bejelland (later of Babes in Toyland) and Courtney Love (later of Hole). Having recorded and played live for a year with Sugar Babylon, Finch left to play bass and sing with L7 for the next 11 years.

During that time, L7 recorded 5 full length albums, various compilation records, appeared as actors and recorded a song for the John Water's film "Serial Mom" and founded "Rock for Choice" (Finch received the Feminist of the Year award from the Feminist Majority for this work). L7 toured with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the first Warped Tour, Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, Lollapalooza and preformed at the Reading Festival, Finsbury Park Festival, Glastonbury and various other European, Australian and American festivals.

After leaving L7 Finch founded, played guitar and sang with OtherStarPeople, who's one and only record ‘Diamond’s in the Belly of the Dog” was produced by legendary Roy Thomas Baker (Queen, the Cars, Devo). Although OSP did not have huge commercial success, their songs have well out lived the band in film and television.

Currently, Finch fronts gut wrenching, full throttle boy/girl rock band the Shocker, runs Little Pusher Records and is working on publishing her first book of photography.
